Peter M. Berry, Esq.
Biography
Peter M. Berry graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the spring of 2000. Shortly thereafter, he began his legal career as a paralegal with a mass tort litigation firm in downtown Baltimore. After two years of working in that capacity, Mr. Berry began law school at the University of Baltimore School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2005.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Berry continued working with a small law firm, focusing his practice on family law matters. In early 2008, Mr. Berry left that firm to open his own practice, continuing to focus on divorce and custody litigation. While a sole practitioner in private practice, Mr. Berry was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for being among the top 3% of Maryland attorneys under age 40 in 2010, 2012, and 2013. He also served as a volunteer settlement conference facilitator for the family division of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Joining LeViness, Tolzman & Hamilton in January 2018, Mr. Berry brings his litigation and trial experience to personal injury matters in courts throughout the State of Maryland.
Mr. Berry was born and raised just outside Hartford, Connecticut. He now resides in Maryland with his wife and two young daughters. When he is not working diligently to obtain successful results for clients, he can often be found hiking and fishing with his family, working on home improvement projects, or volunteering with the Humane Society of Harford County.
