Just after 2:30 pm on Thursday afternoon, the accident occurred when a car crashed into two other vehicles near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Brooks Drive. A man who was driving one of the vehicles succumbed to his fatal injuries at a local hospital while three other women sustained multiple personal injuries, some of whom needed to be extricated from their vehicles. The police suspect speed may have been a factor in the fatal multi-vehicle crash.
