Wrong Way Collision on Capital Beltway Fatally Injures DriverDecember 12, 2017
A wrong way collision that took place on the Capital Beltway fatally injured the driver, and caused the other driver severe injuries. Around 9:15 pm, on Monday night, the accident occurred when a 36-year-old man from Greenbelt, Maryland, who was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway, struck a pickup truck head-on in Landover, Maryland. The driver of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries and received treatment at the Shock Trauma unit after the wrong way collision.
