On busy, congested highways, car accidents more commonly occur and may cause injuries, ranging in severity, for drivers and passengers. One collision on a well-populated road may even instigate a multi-vehicle crash. In catastrophic crashes, car occupants could be at-risk for debilitating injuries that threaten their quality of life or even fatalities.
