Maryland Car Crash Causes Fatality and Multiple InjuriesJuly 17, 2017
A Maryland car crash caused a fatality and multiple personal injuries on Sunday morning. In Olney, Maryland, the crash occurred around 10 am on Bowie Mill Road when a Ford Mustang struck a Honda Accord. The 45-year-old woman driving the Honda succumbed to her fatal injuries after being hospitalized, while the passengers, a 51-year-old individual and 13-year-old girl, received treatment at the hospital for personal injuries. The 21-year-old man who drove the Ford Mustang also was hospitalized for his non-life-threatening injuries in the Maryland car crash.
Many roads in Maryland are highly congested with cars due to its proximity to two major cities – Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. Distracted driving, reckless driving, speeding, rear-end collisions, and rollover accidents often cause motor vehicle accidents in busy areas. Unfortunately, no matter the cause, these factors contribute to drivers and passengers sustaining personal injuries, catastrophic injuries, and even fatalities.
