Pick-up Truck and Motorcycle Crash in Edgewood Causes InjuriesJune 26, 2017
A pick-up truck and motorcycle crashed in Edgewood, Maryland, causing critical injuries for the motorcyclist. On Sunday morning, around 9:42 am, the motorcycle crash occurred on Route 40. While the motorcyclist was flown to the Shock Trauma unit, no information was available about any occupants of the pick-up truck experiencing personal injuries.
The summer weather is ideal for motorcyclists to ride their motorcycles, but with this comes an increase in motorcycle crashes. Due to the lack of protection motorcycles provide, a motorcycle crash may cause riders to sustain more personal injuries than a driver of another vehicle and the possibility of fatalities. At the very least, a motorcyclist could suffer from a debilitating injury that causes them a loss in their income and emotional distress.
